Boise Idaho : September 15-18, 2010
Test Results!
VDD/GNA, the Wild West Chapter, and Boise Idaho welcomes you to the 2010 Armbruster Zuchtprüfung. Boise is located in western Idaho's Treasure Valley, in the heart of some of the best upland bird hunting in America. A trip to the Armbruster could be combined with a hunting trip for forest grouse, quail, or partridge. Boise offers great family activities, shopping, dining, and Skeet & Sporting Clays. Many within walking distance from the host hotel. The Boise Airport (BOI) is served by most of the major airlines, and is only 10 minutes from the host hotel. Its going to be a great event, I hope you can make it!
A Great Testing Opportunity
The Boise Armbruster will offer great testing conditions. The water and hare tracks will challenge our best dogs and handlers, and offer opportunities to show just what these great dogs are capable of doing.
The Waterwork and Form/Haar Judging will be done north of Boise in the Montour area. The water is truly Armbruster class! The ducks that will be used come from a breeder that produces what is essentially a wild Mallard. They generally don't swim to the nearest cover and stop. They get out of Dodge!
Hare Track
This year the Armbruster will include the Hare Track. The Black Tailed Jack Rabbit, which isn't a rabbit at all, but a true Hare and spends its entire life above ground, is the species of Hare that is found in the Boise area. The Hare Track and Field Work will be done southeast of Boise in the Mountain Home area.
