The Great Plains Chapter is proud to announce they are the hosts of the 2012 International Armbruster! VDD-GNA – The Great Plains Chapter and Watertown, South Dakota , invite you to come share in the premier experience of testing the Deutsch Drahthaar and social gathering of the year! The anticipation of having wild South Dakota pheasants to point should give our versatile breed every chance to show their stuff!

 

The testing grounds have been secured and the Event Center reserved. Make your plans to attend and enter your qualified DD!

What is the International Armbruster?

The Armbruster is North America’s premiere HZP test, breed show and social event! If your testing your Drahthaar in 2012 this event is where you want to be! Deutsch-Drahthaar owners, judges and interested guests; The 2012 Armbruster will showcase the finest gathering of Drahthaar’s in North America and Europe. Enjoy the camaraderie of North American and European handlers, judges, hunters, and distinguished guests. Memorable social events, Sharptail hunting, and old and new friendships of a lifetime will complete your 2012 Armbruster experience.

Entry Requirements

Dogs eligible to enter the 2012 Armbruster must meet the following requirements:


  • Have scored a minimum of 65 points at the VJP.
  • Have a clearly defined beard
  • Meet breed show standards with at least a g g (determined at Pre-Evaluation)
  • Be certified HD & OCD frei
  • Have the HN designation
  • Be gunfire tolerant in water (determined at Pre-Evaluation)
  • Be willing to freely enter the water and search (determined at Pre-Evaluation)
